hi, I'm running squid from 3.4-RELEASE. Squid generates _large_ logfiles, and I don't know how to rotate them. Of course I've tried with newsyslog - it rotates the file well, but the new file remains empty - squid will not write anything into it anymore, even if it's world-writeable... (squid restart helps of course) Ok so I've tried it manually - the problem is the same. Any ideas? -- mauzi PS: what ownership and permissions should the logfiles have by default?
