Its the fastest router platform Man has ever created, and its likely to say that way. If you are using FreeBSD 4.11 for 3 years you will be very unhappy Please don't use polling for a router. Good grief! Intel cards have built-in interrupt moderation. If you are pushing more than 100Kpps then you should increase your receive rings to 512.
