 Files in the /etc/defaults directory specify the default settings
 and can be overridden using a file in /etc, for example, rc.conf.
 
 So basically you use /etc/devfs.rules to override defaults
 specified in /etc/defaults/devfs.rules.  If this does not work
 for you or you are seeing a different behavior, please let us
