Just adding pkg-config to detect openssl.pc solves the problem. (Warning: the problem exists if the package has been built in poudriere, but when built from a port on a machine where pkg-config is installed, configur= e is smart enough to detect it) After this fix: ldd /usr/local/lib/libevent_openssl-2.1.so.6 /usr/local/lib/libevent_openssl-2.1.so.6: libssl.so.9 =3D> /usr/local/lib/libssl.so.9 (0x801206000) libcrypto.so.9 =3D> /usr/local/lib/libcrypto.so.9 (0x801600000) libthr.so.3 =3D> /lib/libthr.so.3 (0x801a75000) libc.so.7 =3D> /lib/libc.so.7 (0x800825000) --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
