I guess I'm confused about which port this refers to.

The archivers/lz4 port was deleted:

archivers/lz4|archivers/liblz4|2015-05-08|Superseded by archivers/liblz4

Looking at all the ports with 'lz4' in the portname seem to indicate they a=

have maintainers:
