Yes perhaps it's a language problem :) I mean real alias when I can create an "interface" with a specified MAC address and a specified IP address attached to a physical device. Actually I can create IP alias (with ifconfig alias for example) but I can't create a MAC address alias associed with this IP alias. Am I wrong ?
