--- Comment #4 from punkt.de Hosting Team <mops@punkt.de> ---
Hi all,

we were running into the same problem for the first time this quarter. We h=
ave
been building our own packages with poudriere all the time and seem to have
picked a combination that plays nicely together. Probably with X11 for
everything, since the "nox11" flavor is missing from pecl-vips. The
improvements for the ImageMagick "USES" macros seem to have triggered an
inconsistency even for us.

Anyway, I'll attach a patch to the Makefile for vips that solves the problem
for us by providing the missing "nox11" flavor. It's based in the quarterly
branch, the port seems to be broken in main.

Kind regards,
Patrick
