Dunno what you're doin, but my custom kernel is 35.44% *smaller* than the stock kernel.GENERIC. -r-xr-xr-x 1 root wheel 1504134 Jun 29 18:23 kernel -rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 2329748 May 17 18:05 kernel.GENERIC I took out everything I didn't need and added in the things I wanted just as you say you did.
