(Heh, both the "full server output" and the "config file")... Actually, maybe we can get somewhere just by locating the file in question. Quite often, that's /etc/X11/XF86Config ... you did create it, we must assume; or, you ran the auto config and saved your changes to wherever it said ... likely /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/? In that dir there are also some sample config files. Tune one to your liking and put it in one of the places noted above, and try again. Also, you might want to read the Handbook chapter on X. Used to be chapter 5, not sure now --- they are reworking it. HTH, KDK
