I'm not entirely opposed to MFC'ing TOE this summer, but I notice that several parts of what is intended to be a new public device driver interface remain entirely undocumented. A necessary step before this work can be properly reviewed is for it to be properly documented. A such, while not in principle unreasonable, I think you should consider the proposed MFC schedule somewhat hypothetical until that issue is resolved, allowing a more critical (and hence substantive) review of the interface. I greatly appreciate, BTW, the time you've put into working to resolve the ABI issues raised on arch@, etc. I hope to have a chance to look at them in more detail in the next couple of weeks and provide feedback.
