Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Dear sirs I have troubles with installation of FreeBSD4.0 for Alpha. I have been a user of Freebsd for i386 for these years. In these days, I baught Alpha PC(UDP2000 667MHz with 2GB memory ) tried to install Freebsd 3.4, 4.0. I failed in booting freebsd3.4 install but succeeded in booting freebsd4.0. During the installation, its process stoped and said it couldn't find Xf86. I compreared the directories for freebsd4.0 for i386 and one for Alpha. I found there is no directory about Xf86 for FreeBSD3.4/4/0 for Alpha. Is it my misunderstanding?
