I was trying a couple of IBM 8mm tape drives, which are made by exabyte. I can rewind and get the tape status fine, but when I try to read or write, I get an: oops: not queued. or something like that. I have tried this on 2 different computers, with both an AHA1542 and NCR controller. Any ideas? Should I just give up on these things? Thanks Fred.
