Even if this was changed in the doc it would have to remain so for some time to come for those who don't have the very latest release installed. Of course a *new* subscribers-only list could be started, but the original idea that it posts if a) you are subscribed or b) if not subscribed you confirm (I *think* that was the original proposal) seems to me would stop the vast majority of the spam. -- Brian T.
