GOOD DAY!!

anyone here using Postgresql?

am having trouble querying large records...

it always returns a segmentation fault...

i tried inquiring at postgres mailing-list
and they told me that their postgres can manage > Millions of records
and heard so far about > 2GB size of a table...

is this then a platform problem? a problem with my OS?
am running 2.2.5 ..

i tried monitoring my system resources using 'top' and everytime
a query on postgres (with large resulting records) is issued.. huge amount
of memory is being allocated... > 16MB and suddenly ... returns a segmentation
fault.. AM ALSO NOTICING THAT MY SWAP SPACE IS UNTOUCHED...

any HELP for this problem?

thank you :)

.a.r.t.
