GOOD DAY!! anyone here using Postgresql? am having trouble querying large records... it always returns a segmentation fault... i tried inquiring at postgres mailing-list and they told me that their postgres can manage > Millions of records and heard so far about > 2GB size of a table... is this then a platform problem? a problem with my OS? am running 2.2.5 .. i tried monitoring my system resources using 'top' and everytime a query on postgres (with large resulting records) is issued.. huge amount of memory is being allocated... > 16MB and suddenly ... returns a segmentation fault.. AM ALSO NOTICING THAT MY SWAP SPACE IS UNTOUCHED... any HELP for this problem? thank you :) .a.r.t.
