I'll have a hard time finding Directory Server 3.5+, for sure, since
the current release is 3.1. I guess this is a trick question?

Let's see:

Enterprise Server 3.5.1 Digital Alpha Digital Unix 4.0b

Directory Server 3.0 Digital Alpha	Digital Unix 4.0b

Messaging Server 3.5 Digital Alpha	Digital Unix 4.0b

Why doesn't this run under FreeBSD Alpha?

Well, because FreeBSD Alpha does not conform to the published ABI's
for the DEC Alpha platform.

For the BSDI x86 stuff... you have to buy it through BSDI, since
BSDI helped port the code. So you're looking in the wrong location.

Because you're not a potential revenue source, and those products
are offered as a hook to people who are expected to become revenue
sources at a later date.
