The "so" file is found in /usr/local/lib. I'd go to /usr/ports/dev/libltdl15 and do "make deinstall reinstall clean." That will probably fix it. Hi, Can anyone shed some light perhaps as to why GCC is not seeing libltdl ??? bash-2.05b# gcc -lltdl /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lltdl bash-2.05b# ldconfig -r|grep ltdl 115:-lltdl.4 => /usr/local/lib/libltdl.so.4 bash-2.05b# pkg_info |grep ltdl libltdl-1.5.22_1 System independent dlopen wrapper bash-2.05b# uname -a FreeBSD xxx 6.1-RELEASE FreeBSD 6.1-RELEASE #0: Sun May 7 04:32:43 UTC 2006 root@opus.cse.buffalo.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC i386 bash-2.05b# Thanks, Chris. _______________________________________________ freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-questions-unsubscribe@freebsd.org"
