Or something else? I didn't have hw.usb.debug or hw.usb.xhci.debug set > 0 when I tested. I suspect that adding evdev support was at least partly responsible for preventing the keyboard from disappearing. I didn't have it in my old custom config, but it's in the new one and I don't have a problem with the keyboard failing now. -- Gary Jennejohn
