Are you trying to build some particular version of clang? I noticed a = couple of weeks ago that the base clang now builds on FreeBSD/powerpc64 = RELENG_9. I've not attempted to do a buildworld and buildkernel using = clang, but it did at least work for a simple "hello world" C program = when I gave it a quick try. backup# clang -v FreeBSD clang version 3.0 (tags/RELEASE_30/final 145349) 20111210 Target: powerpc64-unknown-freebsd9.0 Thread model: posix If the base clang is not working appropriately for you, I think it would = be best to focus on getting that working first. Cheers, Paul.
