I have a FreeBSD server with a 4TB ZRAID1 and 16GiB RAM; it's also hosting a Windows 7 with SQL Server through bhyve. Now I've just got hold of a spare SSD and, although the box performance is adequate, I'd like to see if it can boost it. Should I configure it as L2ARC? ZIL? Both? Which will benefit the bhyve VM more? bye & Thanks av.
