No error messages come up at all. By all accounts, it would appear that "burncd -f /dev/acd1c -s 8 date fixate" works and burns. But when I try to access the disk either by FreeBSD or windows, it won't let me mount or access. I'm currently working in 4.5-stable. Thanks for the help, Cory. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Søren Schmidt" To: "Cory" Cc: Sent: Thursday, February 14, 2002 4:07 AM Subject: Re: burncd and Sony CRX700E > It seems Cory wrote: > > I've read the list of supported ATAPI cdrw's, and know my Sony CRX700E that > > came with my Inspiron 8100 isn't on the list - still, has anyone managed to > > get this to not burn coasters?
