I have an associate who has a GUS PnP with 2 MB of RAM onboard. When he attempts to activate full-duplex mode (check the radio button in the Menu) in Vat v4.0a2, the machine locks up solid. This machine is a AMIBIOS May 96, Cyrix 5x86; mine is a SiS 54P, Phoenix 12/94 BIOS P90 that works fine. We just got this card the other day. We unpacked guspnp6 over 2.2-GAMMA sources, added the necessary lines, and rebuilt the kernel. The GUS probes up with no problem. Any clues?
