Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-ports@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org I've had a series of problems with the xmms port recently, but it has worked sporadically in the past. The current problem is that I run it and it just hangs. No UI shows up; nothing happens. The same thing happens when I run "xmms --help" or "xmms --version". top shows nothing unusual and ps indicates that the process is idle. Does anyone else see anything like this? Previously, when it "worked", it would run and show up just fine, play music, but then the skin drawing mechanism would just wig out. I'd get a window full of seemingly random garbage. I'm presently evaluating the OSS drivers but it didn't work before that either. I'm running 3.3 Release with Accelerated X and the latest GNOME and Enlightenment ports. I've got the latest libtool, glib, and gtk ports. It builds just fine; it just doesn't do anything when I try to run it. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
