IGMP should Just Work since it's the base-level implementation of
multicast.  You should be able to start up a multicast application (like
sdr) and see the membership add messages go out if you watch the interface
with tcpdump.  I could be confusing the versions; is v2 really really new?

What program?  I didn't get an attachment. (hint: don't send attachments
