Don't know about a proper fix, but a simple workaround I did:
As "/usr/local/lib/xorg/modules/libwfb.so" didn't even exist in my
latest Xorg installation (I'd suspect some overlook by nvidia-driver
port's maintainer), I don't need to care if it (and what) will get
backed up as XXX-xxxxxxx, so simple

# touch /usr/local/lib/xorg/modules/libwfb.so
# portupgrade -v nvidia-driver

did the trick.
