i have tried to install freeBsd from a cdrom and every time i boot it gives me an atapi cdrom driver, i have tried 3 different cdroms and i have come to the conclusion that this might be occuring at the bios level, my question to you is how do force another driver for the cdrom and if i can, can you email the driver to me or at least direct me to a place where i can download the driver and then install freeBsd? my bios is award and i was wondering also if asus system boards are compatible with freebsd. the current board is not an asus board but i was intending to get an asus. thank you for your help Douglas __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
