I compiled X11R6 on FreeBSD-current with the gcc 2.7.2p-p6 using the Compiler switches: -mpentium -pipe -O2. When trying to run X11 via xinit, the Xserver hung during startup. So I think, that the patched gcc somehow produced strange code... Any thoughts ? For other programs the new gcc seems to work ok.
