There was a '.' on a line by itself from the stuff I pasted in. Erp. I swear, that is the first time that has ever happened to me. I may have found an error of sorts in the wi(4) man page. It says that the Compaq WL110 wireless card has a PRISM-II chipset, thus this entry: Compaq WL110 Prism-II PCMCIA However, when I inserted the card, I get: Sep 9 21:48:21 nineveh pccardd[51]: Card "Compaq"("Compaq WL110 PC Card") [Vers ion 01.01] [] matched "Compaq" ("Compaq WL110 PC Card") [(null)] [(null)] Sep 9 21:48:26 nineveh /kernel: wi0 at port 0x240-0x27f irq 3 slot 0 on pccard0 Sep 9 21:48:26 nineveh /kernel: wi0: 802.11 address: 00:02:a5:6e:16:09 Sep 9 21:48:26 nineveh /kernel: wi0: using Lucent Technologies, WaveLAN/IEEE Sep 9 21:48:26 nineveh /kernel: wi0: Lucent Firmware: Station 6.16.01 Sep 9 21:48:26 nineveh pccardd[51]: wi0: Compaq (Compaq WL110 PC Card) inserted ..which, to my eye, sure looks like a Lucent/Hermes chipset.
