Did my previous message not come through? In case it didn't, here's the key p=
art again:

The flood of email to perl@ is an unfortunate side effect of the fact that t=
hese auto assigner doesn't recognize that it could assign these to me becaus=
e the "p5- -> perl@" rule takes precedence over the "submitters is committer=
" rule. This is something I'm trying to work on.

I think the list might be too large and slow the auto assigner down. Also, i=
t would require maintenance. And the ports that I'm submitting PRs for aren'=
t maintained by perl@.

I think fixing the auto assigner is the better solution.
