On my alpha 5.2.1-Release, mozilla-1.7_0,2 build fails. I believe -lc is missing. Firefox-0.9.1 works. gmake[4]: Entering directory `/usr/ports/www/mozilla/work/mozilla/security/nss/lib/util' ../../../coreconf/nsinstall/FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/nsinstall -R -m 664 FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/libsecutil.a /usr/ports/www/mozilla/work/mozilla/dist/lib gmake[4]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/www/mozilla/work/mozilla/security/nss/lib/util' cd freebl; /usr/local/bin/gmake -j1 libs gmake[4]: Entering directory `/usr/ports/www/mozilla/work/mozilla/security/nss/lib/freebl' ../../../coreconf/nsinstall/FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/nsinstall -R -m 664 FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/libfreebl.a /usr/ports/www/mozilla/work/mozilla/dist/lib gmake[4]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/www/mozilla/work/mozilla/security/nss/lib/freebl' cd softoken; /usr/local/bin/gmake -j1 libs gmake[4]: Entering directory `/usr/ports/www/mozilla/work/mozilla/security/nss/lib/softoken' rm -f FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/libsoftokn3.so cc -Wl,-Bsymbolic -shared -Wl,-soname -Wl,libsoftokn3.so -lc_r -o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/libsoftokn3.so -o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/libsoftokn3.so FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/alghmac.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/dbinit.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/dbmshim.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/ecdecode.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/fipstest.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/fipstokn.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/keydb.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/lowcert.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/lowkey.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/lowpbe.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/padbuf.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/pcertdb.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/pk11db.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/pkcs11.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/pkcs11c.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/pkcs11u.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/rawhash.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/rsawrapr.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/softkver.o FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/tlsprf.o /usr/ports/www/mozilla/work/mozilla/dist/lib/libfreebl.a /usr/ports/www/mozilla/work/mozilla/dist/lib/libsecutil.a /usr/ports/www/mozilla/work/mozilla/dist/lib/libdbm.a -L/usr/ports/www/mozilla/work/mozilla/dist/lib/ -lplc4 -lplds4 -lnspr4 FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/alghmac.o: In function `HMAC_Create': FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/alghmac.o(.text+0x1ac): undefined reference to `memset' FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/alghmac.o(.text+0x1b0): undefined reference to `memset' FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/alghmac.o(.text+0x1c8): undefined reference to `memset' FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/alghmac.o(.text+0x1cc): undefined reference to `memset' gmake[4]: *** [FreeBSD5.2.1_64_OPT.OBJ/libsoftokn3.so] Error 1 gmake[4]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/www/mozilla/work/mozilla/security/nss/lib/softoken' gmake[3]: *** [libs] Error 2 gmake[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/www/mozilla/work/mozilla/security/nss/lib' gmake[2]: *** [libs] Error 2 gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/www/mozilla/work/mozilla/security/manager' gmake[1]: *** [tier_40] Error 2 gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/www/mozilla/work/mozilla' gmake: *** [default] Error 2 *** Error code 2 Stop in /usr/ports/www/mozilla.
