Doug, Just out of curiosity, why don't you run the native build of mozilla for freebsd with the native build of java with plugin. I have been running mozilla with native jdk plugin for a month or two now with no problems at all. Mozilla 1.0 rc1 runs great, and the native jdk has been flawless.
