Thanks! 1) apcupsd does not currently support USB connections for FreeBSD. 2) There is a _beta_ version - availiable at "http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=5525131&forum_id=26961" that may work. If you can afford to install and test this version, please do so as it will not be added to main apcupsd code-base and therefore not be part of the port until more testing occurs. Robert Huff
