Hi,

When I try to switch console resolution to any 24-bit color depth, such as=
=20
vidcontrol -m on MODE_280, it switches perfectly to a beautiful shell and=20
nice fonts but I loose my mouse cursor. I can still select text (guessing=20
from where my mouse used to be) and passing my mouse over text distorts it =
a=20
bit. If I switch to 16-bit depth my mouse appears and everything is fine.=20
This is all resolutions.

MODE_280 is 1024x768@24bpp while MODE_279 is 1024x768@16bpp.

I have a :
drm0: <ATI Radeon AS 9600 AS> port 0xe000-0xe0ff mem=20
0xe8000000-0xefffffff,0xfbe00000-0xfbe0ffff irq 11 at device 0.0 on pci1

With enough power to draw a cursor :)
