Your first machine needs another ip address (like 10.0.0.1) on the
local ethernet interface.
Then your class c machine has to be configured as a gateway.
Change the gateway="NO" line in sysconfig to gateway="YES and reboot
or do a

# sysctl -w net.inet.ip.forwarding=1

Then you have to tell your second machine that your first machine is
a gateway. Do a

# route add default 10.0.0.1

on your second machine.
