I have noticed that someone has left a scilab-port in the incoming dir of ftp.freebsd.org... but it was not complete. This package is developed by the INRIA in France and is freely available. As it is a realy good package I think it deserves being added to the ports list. There is a web page for this package that you can check at http://www-rocq.inria.fr/scilab/ I have uploaded the file to ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/incoming/Scilab-2.2-port.tgz. Note: As this package uses a lot of files that it expects to find in a "base" instalation dir, this port does the instalation in /usr/X11R6/scilab and the script scilab is installed in /usr/X11R6/bin/. If you find that this is not the appropriate location for the files feel free to change it or let me know and I'll do it. Regards, Paulo Menezes >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
