The error that shows in xdm-errors is: it shows the normal X starting part and then it goes to: AUDIT: Sun Oct 28 22:27:10 2001: 1036 X: client 2 rejected from local host Auth name: XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 ID: -1 Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server /usr/X11R6/bin/xrdb: Can't open display ':0' AUDIT: Sun Oct 28 22:27:10 2001: 1036 X: client 3 rejected from local host Auth name: XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 ID: -1 Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server Error: Can't open display: :0 AUDIT: Sun Oct 28 22:27:14 2001: 1036 X: client 2 rejected from local host Auth name: XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 ID: -1 AUDIT: Sun Oct 28 22:27:14 2001: 1036 X: client 2 rejected from local host Auth name: XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 ID: -1 AUDIT: Sun Oct 28 22:27:17 2001: 1036 X: client 2 rejected from local host Auth name: XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 ID: -1 Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server /usr/X11R6/bin/xrdb: Can't open display ':0' AUDIT: Sun Oct 28 22:27:17 2001: 1036 X: client 3 rejected from local host Auth name: XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 ID: -1 Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server Error: Can't open display: :0 xdm error (pid 1033): Unknown session exit code 2304 from process 1056 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
