The recommendation to change the MAC of the wired adapter sounds good.

Out of curiosity, should you not be able to change the MAC of any wlan devi=
ce
regardless of the underlying wireless driver?  If you can, then it may be
better to suggest changing it on the wlan device since it would always work=

Perhaps, it already works on all wired devices?

I also wonder if this bug still exists or not.
