I have a laptop and I had couple of problems with BSD-4.2 and I realoaded and its working fine now. I want to configure WvaeLan card (Silver Turbo 11 Mb). I learned from the news group that http://www.live.com/wireless/unix-base-station.html would be usefull and I looked at it and indeed I found valuable info. I have following questions: URL says to do this:- --------------------- /usr/sbin/wicontrol -i wi0 -n /usr/sbin/wicontrol -i wi0 -p 1 /usr/sbin/wicontrol -i wi0 -c 1 /usr/sbin/wicontrol -i wi0 -s ------------------------- 1> here "wicontrol" would be a file? 2> what is wi0? 3> and what should be and , are they the IP address or something else?? 4> There is something with IRQ, could someone tell me about how can I find about the free IRQ.
