No, there are no current plans to port ipssend.  Porting is non-trivial
since the code assumes that arrays are presented to the OS as SCSI
devices rather than block devices.  This also likely rules out running
the linux tools in emulation mode.  The only recourse that I can
suggest is to call the Adaptec support hotline and complain.
