Mmmmm. We used to have an international crypto repo and emphasis on getting things to work without the crypto installed. I'm pretty sure we gave up on that approach on the grounds that we _really_ can't have a modern operating system without crypto (and some lawsuit results in favor of crypto researchers, iirc). -- Daniel C.
