I'm getting lots of these in my system log now that i've upgraded to 2.2. With the same configuration file (well the sound part at least) the 2.1.7 kernel i used to use worked fine. Now I get this and garbled output (it will work fine to a point, then start garbling and printing the error...) any ideas? controller snd0 device sb0 at isa? port 0x220 irq 5 drq 1 vector sbintr device opl0 at isa? port 0x388 conflicts plus /dev/sndstat: VoxWare Sound Driver:3.0-beta-950506 (Sun Feb 5 14:38:12 EST 1995 freebsd-hackers@freefall.cdrom.com) Config options: ffffffff Installed drivers: Type 1: OPL-2/OPL-3 FM Type 2: SoundBlaster Card config: SoundBlaster at 0x220 irq 5 drq 1 OPL-2/OPL-3 FM at 0x388 irq 65535 drq 4294967295 Audio devices: 0: SoundBlaster 2.2 Synth devices: 0: OPL-2 Midi devices: 0: SoundBlaster Timers: 0: System Timer Mixers: the irq and drq numbers for the fm controller look awfully suspicious but it worked under 2.1.7 <shrug> thanks for any help, -- Jason Garman http://www.nesc.k12.ar.us/~garman/ Student, Eleanor Roosevelt High School garman@phs.k12.ar.us
