I am working with Reinoud Zandijk, the author of udfclient, and he has already merged most of the patch into his code and released a new version 0.3.2, he also plans to release another minor version soon 0.3.3 that will have more fixes for some small things. Maybe we can wait till then or commit the port in its current state and then update it shortly. Unfor P.S. I have Cc:-ed Scott, because he wrote kernel udf fs and has an interest in this. -- Andriy Gapon
