However, as the maintainer supplied upgrade patches even after the port had been marked BROKEN for 5.x, my guess is they simply didn't know how and where to track this build problem. Due to the {wonder,cumber}some makefile infrastructure of that software, I've been quite baffled at first, too, and I think it requires quite a bit of analytical experience to know where to start looking for it. -- cheers, J"org .-.-. --... ...-- -.. .
