https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D248381 Bug ID: 248381 Summary: databases/redis: sentinel mode not configurable in rc.conf Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: osa@FreeBSD.org Reporter: liedtke@punkt.de Assignee: osa@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(osa@FreeBSD.org) Hello, while it is possible to run multiple instances of redis via rc.conf, redis sentinel mode (https://redis.io/topics/sentinel) is not configurable and th= us redis cannot automatically started in sentinel mode. While this also should be configurable in redis.conf and not only by starti= ng it via `redis --sentinel` (see https://github.com/redis/redis/issues/7596), momentarily it is not possible to start it otherwise than calling it from t= he commandline.
