Could someone else check to see if the /usr/bin/mixer program is working
with the new sound driver? With guspnp11, I don't get anything listed
when I invoke it without arguments to get the current levels.

This is a 3.0-current system, with a SB-16/Phoneblaster sound card. The
mixer command was built with a much earlier version of the sound driver;
guspnp8 or so (I think).
