I'm mounting a CVS repository over NFS read-only. I want to check out
a set of source code, but it fails even with the '-R' flag,

 # cvs -R co -rRELENG_4 sys
cvs [checkout aborted]: cannot write /ncvs/CVSROOT/val-tags: Read-only file system

Is it possible to do this? What do I need to do to get this to work?
