I have the 4-CD distribution of FreeBSD from Walnut Creek. I noticed this when I went to setup samba. Heretofore, when I've wanted to add the samba package, I'd just pop in the #1 CD, look in the packages directory to see what the package name was and use pkg_add. Now when I do that, I'm seeing a lot of strange stuff none of which looks like a samba distribution package. Would someone please enlighten me as to what's going on here (and what I need to do to add the samba package)? Thanks for any input. ... doug _____________________________________________________________________ Doug Jolley mailto://doug@footech.com http://www.footech.com Don't bogart that file, my friend.
