From: pmn@bakarika.net To: bug-followup@FreeBSD.org, pmn@bakarika.net Cc: Subject: Re: ports/162075: www/firefox >= 7.0.1_2 bug with respect to pentadactyl addon Date: Tue, 22 Nov 2011 03:52:23 +0100 The bug persists with firefox 8. Also, while I thought it did not happen with 7.0.1_{1,2}, I realised that it did not happen with my previously built packages, but that once I recompiled them, the bug affected them as well. This probably means that a port upgrade in the mean time must have broken something. Moreover, I also have some errors with other plugins (vimperator gives works, but has bugs that say "InternalError: too much recursion", zotero makes firefox loop and never show up when the browser is launched...). I therefore guess that the problem is different from what I expected. It's possible that the issue is in fact in the JavaScript engine, triggered by a broken dependency in my build, but I don't have time to "portupgrade -rf firefox"... I think that this bug report can thus be closed (but since it's not solved, I'm willing to hear how to to rebuild *only* the ports necessary for the javascript engine of firefox, rather than all the 218 packages that firefox it depends on...)
