I am looking to do profiling of one of my programs. I know about gprof and cachegrind for linux but was wondering if there are other tools that are recommended to have or to use instead. The test systems I have access to are Linux, FreeBSD, and some nice Sun machines.

Thank you,

Ben Mayer
