The reason I ask is I think I found one in the DATE command for 2.2.1. The reason I say this is that it uses the YYMMDD format which means it will roll over to 000101 at the year 2k. man info : SYNOPSIS /usr/bin/date [-u] [+format] /usr/bin/date [-a [-]sss.fff] /usr/bin/date [-u] [[mmdd]HHMM | mmddHHMM[cc]yy][.SS] /usr/xpg4/bin/date [-u] [+format] /usr/xpg4/bin/date [-a [-]sss.fff] /usr/xpg4/bin/date [-u] [[mmdd]HHMM | mmddHHMM[cc]yy][.SS] Thanks, Greg King gking@c-com.net Charter Communications
