The last time update of libgda was back in =20 > March 2002, so that's up to you if you still want to poke it. :-) libgda is still in active development, but they have not released a stable release in sometime. Up until recently, we were tracking the 1.9x versions, but many ports did not build with the new API. libgda will be around for a while in some form or another.
